  • 1 lb beef stew meat (cut into cubes)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Hungarian paprika
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat and brown the beef on all sides.
  2. Add chopped onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in paprika, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
