Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 sandwich buns
- Optional: 6 slices crispy bacon, sliced pickles, avocado, or sautéed onions
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
- Cut the cream cheese into chunks and add it on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once the chicken is fully cooked, use two forks to shred it directly in the crock pot.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
- Serve the chicken mixture on sandwich buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a spicier kick, try using Pepper Jack cheese instead of cheddar. You can also serve the shredded chicken over rice, in wraps, or as a topping for baked potatoes.
