Description

Crockpot Mississippi Chicken is a tender, flavor-packed dish made with ranch seasoning, pepperoncini peppers, and butter. It’s an easy, delicious meal perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 68 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini juice
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, sliced

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your Crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Add the pepperoncini peppers and pour in the pepperoncini juice.
  4. Place the sliced butter on top of the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  6. Shred the chicken using two forks and mix with the sauce.
  7. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or in sandwiches.

Notes

For a spicier version, add more pepperoncini peppers or a splash of hot sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
