Description
Buttery, crispy rollups packed with cheesy beef, smoky bacon, and brushed with a rich garlic butter — like a cheeseburger meets a garlic knot!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ small onion, finely diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon mustard or burger seasoning (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 6 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar or American cheese
- 1 tube crescent roll dough or pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder)
- 1 tablespoon parsley or chives, chopped
- Optional: sesame seeds for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and diced onions over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in garlic powder, burger seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and mix in chopped bacon and shredded cheese. Let cool slightly.
- Roll out dough on a floured surface. If using crescent dough, pinch seams to seal. Cut into palm-sized rectangles.
- Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto each piece of dough. Roll tightly, folding in the sides.
- Place rollups seam-side down on baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Brush over rollups. Add sesame seeds if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Let the filling cool slightly before rolling to avoid soggy dough. These are freezer-friendly and perfect for parties or lunchboxes!
