Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (or preferred meat)
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 slices crispy bacon
- 1 cup sautéed mushrooms
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 4 burger buns
- Salt and pepper (for seasoning)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Form the ground beef into 4 equal patties, making them slightly larger than your buns. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grill each patty for 4-5 minutes per side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a separate pan, fry the bacon slices until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill.
- Assemble the burger by placing a grilled patty on the bottom bun, topping it with sautéed mushrooms, crispy bacon, a slice of cheddar cheese, and a drizzle of BBQ sauce.
- Place the top bun and serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, use an 80/20 ground beef blend for a juicy patty. Toasting the buns prevents sogginess and enhances texture.
