- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup Bisquick (or similar baking mix)
- Optional: sliced tomatoes, cooked bacon, pickles for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread the beef mixture evenly into the bottom of the pie dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and Bisquick until smooth. Pour the batter evenly over the beef and cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the pie cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite burger toppings or sauces.
Notes
