- 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or panko)
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine drained tuna, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, parsley, and lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into small patties, about 3-4 inches in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 3-5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from heat and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or over a salad.
Notes
For a low-carb version, replace breadcrumbs with almond flour. Patties can be baked at 375°F for 15-20 minutes if preferred over frying.
